Himanshu Sharma
Himanshu Sharma is an Indian film writer and producer who works in Bollywood, Hindi cinema. He is most well known as the writer of the ''Tanu Weds Manu series'' (2011 & 2015), for which he received two National Film Awards, National FIlm Awards, and ''Raanjhanaa'' (2013), all of which were considered highly successful domestically. Early life and education Himanshu Sharma was born to Jiwan Sharma, a U.P. Tourism officer and Shama Sharma in Lucknow. Himanshu did his schooling from Spring dale College, Lucknow and later moved to Kirori Mal College, Delhi for higher education, where he started taking part in theatre. Himanshu Sharma is an Indian chess grandmaster. Career In April 2017, he crossed the 2500 rating mark after scoring a win in the fifth round of the 1st Sardar Prakash Singh Memorial. With this, he became India's 47th grandmaster and the first grandmaster from the province of Haryana. In July 2017, he won the Barbera Del Valles Open, finishing half a point ahead of runner-up Karen H. Grigoryan.
