Hilford Deterville
Hilford Deterville Q.C. (1944–2014) was a Saint Lucian politician who was president of the Senate of Saint Lucia from 1997 to 2007. He was born on 26 August 1944. He graduated from the University of West Indies in 1973. He was a lawyer, former president of the bar association, and a former electoral commissioner. Deterville was a member of Saint Lucia Labour Party. He was appointed as President of the Senate of Saint Lucia in 1997. He continued as Senate President in December 2006, and was succeeeded as president by Rosemary Husbands-Mathurin Rosemary Husbands-Mathurin MBE is a Saint Lucian politician. Husbands-Mathurin served as president of the Senate from 2007 to 2008, and speaker of the House of Assembly from 2008 to 2011. Neville Cenac
Sir Emmanuel Neville Cenac (born 24 November 1939) is the former governor-general of Saint Lucia. He was appointed to that post in January 2018. On 28 July 2021 Cenac is reported to have signalled his intention to resign. As of 31 October, he demitted the viceregal office (but his demission was with effect 10 November). He was previously best known as a Saint Lucian politician, serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1987 to 1992.
