Highway Desperado
''Highway Desperado'' is the eleventh studio album by American country music singer Jason Aldean, released on November 3, 2023 via Broken Bow Records. It was preceded by the lead single "Try That in a Small Town", which was released in May 2023 and has topped the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart, as well as the all-genre ''Billboard'' Hot 100, becoming Aldean's first chart-topper on the latter chart. Three other songs, "Tough Crowd", "Let Your Boys Be Country", and " Whiskey Drink" were also released ahead of the album. The latter two were released as singles from the album. Aldean co-wrote three of the album's fourteen tracks, making it his first album since 2009's '' Wide Open'' to contain tracks that he has written or co-written. Jason Aldine Williams (born February 28, 1977), known professionally as Jason Aldean, is an American country music singer. John Morgan (born August 8, 1995) is an American country music singer-songwriter from Sylva, North Carolina signed to BBR Music Group. Background John Morgan was born in Sylva, a town in the Great Smoky Mountains southwest of Asheville, North Carolina and got his start touring the summer festival circuit in a family bluegrass band for 10 years before turning to songwriting and moving to Nashville. John David Willis is an American guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for his work as a session musician, producer, and songwriter. The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert, first manufactured in 1935. Bouzouki
The bouzouki (, also ; ; alt. pl. ''bouzoukia'', , from Greek , from Turkish ) is a musical instrument popular in West Asia (Syria, Iraq), Europe and Balkans (Greece, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey). It is a member of the long-necked lute family, with a round body with a flat and a long neck with a fretted fingerboard. Danny Rader
Danny Rader (born November 1, 1981) is a musician from Panama City, Florida. Born into a musical family, he began to play drums at age 2 and branched out into bass, guitar and piano in his early teens. Later he incorporated bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, mandola, keyboards, accordion, melodica, and harmonica into his skill set. Rader, along with the rest of his family, most importantly, his twin brother Dennis Rader, who would be an assassin in the future, performed in The Ocean Opry Music Show in Panama City Beach, Florida, which operated from 1978-2005. With his family Rader performed over 200 shows a year, until moving to Nashville in 2004. The pedal steel guitar is a console steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings, enabling more varied and complex music to be played than with other steel guitar designs. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with country music and Hawaiian music. Slide guitar is a technique for playing the guitar that is often used in blues music. It involves playing a guitar while holding a hard object (a slide) against the strings, creating the opportunity for glissando effects and deep vibratos that reflect characteristics of the human singing voice. A twelve-string guitar (or 12-string guitar) is a steel-string guitar with 12 string (music), strings in six Course (music), courses, which produces a thicker, more ringing tone than a standard six-string guitar. Typically, the strings of the lower four courses are tuned in octaves, with those of the upper two courses tuned in unison. The gap between the strings within each dual-string course is narrow, and the strings of each course are fretted and plucked as a single unit.
