Highveld Lions
DP World Lions is a professional cricket team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The home venue is the DP World Wanderers Stadium. The team plays in the CSA 4-Day Series first class cricket competition as well as in the Momentum 1 Day Cup, CSA Provincial T20 Knock-Out Competition and CSA T20 Challenge limited over competitions. Temba Bavuma
Temba Bavuma (born 17 May 1990) is a South African international cricketer who currently is the captain of the South African cricket team in white-ball cricket. He also vice-captains South Africa in Test cricket. He is a right-handed batter and was the first black African cricketer to make a Test century for South Africa and the first to captain the side. Bavuma is only the second South African cricketer to score a century on ODI debut, scoring 113 runs against Ireland in September 2016. 2018–19 CSA T20 Challenge
The 2018–19 CSA T20 Challenge was the sixteenth season of the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, CSA T20 Challenge, established by Cricket South Africa. It took place from 5 April to 5 May 2019. Titans cricket team, Titans were the defending champions. In April 2019, Cricket South Africa announced that this would be the final edition of the T20 Challenge, due to austerity measures and a restructure of domestic cricket in the country. Rain played a factor during the tournament, with several matches ending in a result (cricket)#No result, no result or being abandoned, including all three matches scheduled to be played on Easter Monday. Following the conclusion of the group stage matches, Highveld Lions, Lions, Warriors (cricket team), Warriors, Cape Cobras and Dolphins (cricket team), Dolphins had all progressed to the semi-finals of the tournament. Wiaan Mulder
Pieter Willem Adriaan Mulder (born 19 February 1998), known as Wiaan Mulder, is a South African first-class cricketer. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for South Africa in October 2017 and his Test debut in March 2019. In domestic cricket, Mulder plays for Imperial Lions (formerly Highveld Lions) and Gauteng. He was born in Johannesburg and educated at St Stithians College. He played age-group cricket for Gauteng from under-13 level onwards. Domestic career Mulder made his first-class cricket debut at The Wanderers for Highveld Lions against Cape Cobras in the 2016–17 Sunfoil Series in October 2016 whist still at school. Rassie Van Der Dussen
Hendrik Erasmus "Rassie" van der Dussen (born 7 February 1989) is a South African professional cricketer who represents the South Africa national cricket team and plays for Gauteng in domestic cricket. In the 2018 ''South African Cricket Annual'', he was named as one of the five Cricketers of the Year. In August 2019, van der Dussen was named the International Men's Newcomer of the Year at Cricket South Africa's annual award ceremony. Later the same month, Cricket South Africa awarded him with a central contract for the 2019–20 season. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. They can also be referred to as a ''seam'' bowler, a ''swing'' bowler or a ''fast bowler who can swing it'' to reflect the predominant characteristic of their deliveries. Strictly speaking, a pure swing bowler does not need to have a high degree of pace, though dedicated medium-pace swing bowlers are rarely seen at Test level in modern times. Shane Dadswell
Shane Dadswell (born 18 November 1997) is a South African cricketer who plays for North-West University in South Africa. In November 2017, he scored 490 runs in a 50-over game, setting a club cricket record for the highest individual score in the format. He made his List A debut for North West in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 26 November 2017. In September 2018, he was named in North West's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup.
