East Kilbride
East Kilbride (; ), sometimes referred to as EK, is the largest town in South Lanarkshire in Scotland, and the country's sixth-largest locality by population. Historically a small village, it was designated Scotland's first "new town" on 6 May 1947. Carcass are an English death metal band from Liverpool, formed in 1985. The band have gone through several line-up changes, leaving guitarist Bill Steer and bassist-vocalist Jeff Walker as the only constant members. They broke up in 1996, but reformed in 2007 without original drummer Ken Owen, for health reasons. Hundred Reasons
Hundred Reasons are an English alternative rock band formed in London, England, in 1999. It consists of Colin Doran (vocals), Larry Hibbitt (guitar, vocals), Andy Gilmour (bass), and Andy Bews (drums). After releasing ''EpOne'', '' EpTwo'', and '' EpThree'' between 2000 and 2001, Hundred Reasons issued their debut full-length album, '' Ideas Above Our Station'', in 2002, to critical acclaim and commercial success. Therapy?
Therapy? are a Northern Irish rock band from Larne, formed in 1989 by guitarist-vocalist Andy Cairns and drummer-vocalist Fyfe Ewing. Therapy? recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the lineup, the band recruited Larne bassist Michael McKeegan. The band signed with major label A&M Records in 1992, for which they released four albums, most notably '' Troublegum'' in 1994 and '' Infernal Love'' in 1995. Ewing's departure in early 1996 preceded the arrivals of his replacement Graham Hopkins, as well as Martin McCarrick on guitar and cello. Neil Cooper replaced Hopkins in 2002. This Is Menace was a British metalcore supergroup formed in 2004. '' Metal Hammer'' has called the band "the most underrated metal supergroup of the 2000s". History The band was formed by bassist Mark Clayden and drummer Jason Bowld during the hiatus of their previous band, Pitchshifter. The group released their limited EP, ''Collusion'' in 2005. The ''Sunday Mail'' is a Scottish tabloid newspaper published every Sunday. It is the sister paper of the '' Daily Record'' and is owned by Reach plc. It should not be confused with ''The Mail on Sunday''; the ''Daily Mail'' was unable to use the title ''Sunday Mail'' when it launched a Sunday edition in 1982 because of the Scottish paper. In 1922, Gomer Berry (later 1st Viscount Kemsley) bought the ''Sunday Mail'', its sister paper the '' Daily Record'', and another newspaper, the ''Glasgow Evening News'', for £1 million. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Alternative rock acts achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with the likes of the grunge subgenre in the United States, and the Britpop and shoegaze subgenres in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Rasmus is a Finnish Pop music, rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (founder, frontman, lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). InMe are an English alternative rock/metal band originally formed in Brentwood, Essex in 1996. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs, one bootleg album, one best-of compilation, one live album, one live EP and an acoustic album.
