HiOS
HiOS () is a customized Android operating system developed by Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Tecno Mobile, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings. The OS is used in the company’s smartphones. HiOS claims to allow for a wide range of user customization without requiring rooting of the mobile device. The operating system is bundled with pre-installed utility applications. The company claimed that the applications would allow users to free up memory, freeze applications, and limit data accessibility to applications, among others. History In April 2016, HiOS 1.0 was released and was based on Android 6.0. It launched on Tecno Boom J8.
