Hezekiah (rapper)
Hezekiah Davis III (born November 18, 1972), better known by his stage name Hezekiah, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is founder of the producer showcase, Beat Society. He is lead singer of the band Johnny Popcorn. Hezekiah was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and raised in New Castle, Delaware. He currently resides in Philadelphia. He has produced for Zap Mama, Eric Roberson, Blu, and Wordsworth. His production has been featured in TV and films. He has scored for the 2002–2003 Showtime series ''Street Time''. In 2008, he co-produced the score for the PBS documentary ''First Person''. He has written songs for singer Bilal. The Perceptionists is an American hip hop group from Boston, Massachusetts. The group initially had three members: Mr. Lif, Akrobatik, and DJ Fakts One. ''Absolute Value'' is the second studio album by Boston rapper Akrobatik. It was released on February 19, 2008 by Fat Beats Records. The album features guest appearances by hip hop artists Talib Kweli, Chuck D, and B-Real, as well as production by 9th Wonder, Illmind, J Dilla, and Da Beatminerz. Despite receiving rave reviews, the album sold about 600 units in its opening week. Jared K. Bridgeman, (born May 3, 1974) better known by his stage name Akrobatik, is an American rapper from the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He is also a part of the hip hop collective named The Perceptionists with Mr. Lif and DJ Fakts One, which released '' Black Dialogue'' in 2005. Career In 1998, Akrobatik released his first single, "Ruff Enough", on Boston's Detonator Records label. It was followed by "Internet MCs" and "Say Yes Say Word". Hasan Salaam (born January 12, 1981) is an American rapper and sex educator born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. Raheem Jarbo (born September 3, 1977), also known by his stage names Mega Ran and Random, is an American Underground hip hop, underground nerdcore rapper, chiptune DJ, author and record producer.
