The Centre de ressources et d'informations sur les multimédias pour l'enseignement supérieur, commonly known by its acronym CERIMES, formerly Service du film de recherche scientifique (SFRS) and also known as SFRS-CERIMES, was a French statutory body that provided films and other media for use in higher education. It was disbanded on 31 December 2014. History The Service du film de recherche scientifique (SFRS) was established in 1995. Filmmaker Hervé Lièvre was the first director of SFRS, from 1995, and continued in the position through its later transition to CERIMES.
