Heroman
''Heroman'' (stylized as ''HEROMAN'') is a Japanese manga and anime series created by Marvel's Stan Lee and Bones. The manga was published in Square Enix's magazine '' Monthly Shōnen Gangan'' from August 2009 to October 2011, with its chapters collected in five ''tankōbon'' volumes. The 26-episode anime television series was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April to September 2010. Lee came up with the series' basic plot, referring to the series and character as "a new hero for the 21st century". Synopsis Orphaned American boy Joey lives with his grandmother, working at a restaurant in the West Coast city of , while going to school. Upon hearing of a new toy robot called the Heybo, Joey believes that getting one will make his life better, turning him into a hero to protect his friends and family. Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber ; December 28, 1922 – November 12, 2018) was an American comic book author, writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-run business called Timely Comics which later became Marvel Comics. Mikako Komatsu
is a Japanese voice actress and singer. Career Komatsu passed an audition held at the first corner of Nippon Broadcasting System "Takashi Fujii's All Night Nippon R". A member of "Younger Sister", she left the group in September 2007. She worked at Hirata Office in November 2009 and made her first leading role for the anime series ''Heroman''. Hitoshi Nanba
, also known by his pseudonym Namimi Sanjo, is a Japanese anime director. Nanba started working in the anime industry in 1982 and directed his first full series in 1989. Since then, some of the series he has directed include ''Heroman'', '' Gosick'', and ''Golden Kamuy''. Biography Hitoshi Nanba was born in Niigata Prefecture. Masahiko Minami
is a Japanese anime producer and president of Bones. Early life Minami was born in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Career A graduate of the Osaka University of Arts's department of arts, Minami joined the noted anime studio Sunrise in 1984, where he began his career as one of its producers. Later, in 1998, he co-founded Bones together with animators Hiroshi Osaka and Toshihiro Kawamoto. He was classmates in university with Gainax co-founder Hiroyuki Yamaga and manga artist Kazuhiko Shimamoto.
