Hero Pattern
Hero Pattern was an American rock band from New Jersey. History Hero Pattern was a four-piece rock band from Sparta, New Jersey. They play post-grunge and modern rock that draws inspiration the music of Elvis Costello and Tom Petty, and music journalist Jim Testa calls Hero Pattern an "energetic brand of indie rock." Lead vocalist Jason Kundrath and bassist Rob Fitzgerald played in a band, before being joined by drummer Mike Kundrath. When guitarist Pierre Marceau's band broke up, he joined the group and together they formed Hero Pattern in 2001. Jason Kundrath acknowledges inspiration from classic rock and grunge, and mentions in an interview with ''The Signal'' that "The Beatles were my first obsession." They released a split EP with Val Emmich, entitled ''The Reception'' in 2002. Sparta is a township in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 19,600, reflecting a decrease of 122 (−0.6%) from the 2010 United States Census, when the township's population was 19,722, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,642 (+9.1%) from the 18,080 counted in the 2000 Census. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a public university in Ewing Township, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. Established in 1855 as the New Jersey State Normal School, TCNJ was the first normal school, or teaching college, in the state of New Jersey and the fifth in the United States. It was originally located in Trenton proper and moved to its present location in adjacent Ewing Township during the early to mid-1930s. Since its inception, TCNJ has undergone several name changes, the most recent being the 1996 change from Trenton State College to its current name. ''"Cut You Out",'' is the debut studio album from the American rock band, Hero Pattern. Content The ten-track album was released on compact disc in 2003, with Redi-Made Records. It was recorded at Mad Moose Recordings, produced by Hero Pattern and mastered by Brad Blackwood at Euphonic Masters. The band cites influence from the rock band At the Drive-In, and singer-songwriter Elvis Costello. ''Cut You Out'' garnered attention from industry taste makers, and received significant spins on college and specialty radio. The album release party was at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey, in September 2003. After Matt Pinfield played the track "Monster" on the FM radio station KROCK, the band decided to record a music video for it. The video was filmed at their friends home in Weehawken, New Jersey. ''IMPACT press'' was an Orlando, Florida, Orlando, Florida-based magazine started in 1996 by Craig Mazer. IMPACT press ran for 10 years, printing its last issue in Spring 2006. Most of the articles were politics, political in nature and usually supported the Left-wing politics, left and far left. During its 10 years in existence, IMPACT press printed 60 issues with print runs of at least 10,000 copies each. Copies of the magazine were available in over 50 cities around the United States.
