Hermes Junior Football Club are a Scottish football club from Bridge of Don, an area of the city of Aberdeen. Founded in 1968 by pupils of Robert Gordon's College Robert Gordon's College is a co-educational Independent school (UK) for day pupils in Aberdeen, Scotland. 2011–12 North Superleague
The 2011–12 North Superleague was the eleventh staging of the North Superleague, the highest tier of league competition in the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The season began on 6 August 2011. The winners of this competition gain direct entry to round one of the 2012–13 Scottish Cup. Hermes secured the title on 2 May 2012, becoming North Superleague champions for the first time. The North Region management committee decreed in May 2012 that two of the clubs eligible for promotion, Inverness City and Deveronside, did not fulfil ground requirements for Superleague membership, and there would therefore only be one relegation place this season as opposed to the normal two. The 2017–18 North Superleague is the seventeenth staging of the North Superleague, the highest tier of league competition in the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The winners of this competition are eligible to enter the 2018–19 Scottish Cup. Member clubs for the 2017–18 season Banks O' Dee are the reigning champions. North First Division (East) champions Ellon United were promoted to the Superleague, however the West champions Spey Valley United declined promotion. An extra play-off spot would decide promotion/relegation. Scottish Junior Football North Super League
The North Region Junior Football League is a football league based in the north east of Scotland. The league sits at levels 6–7 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Highland Football League. Geographically, the league covers Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. The winners take part in an end of season promotion play-off with the Midlands Football League and North Caledonian Football League champions, subject to clubs meeting the required licensing criteria. From 2018 to 2022, the league consisted of three divisions at Tiers 6 to 8. The 2018 league was essentially a continuation of a two division system which operated from 2003.
