Heriot's Rugby Club, formerly known as Heriot's FP, is one of Scotland's senior rugby union, rugby football clubs in the Scottish Rugby Union, whose part-timeprofessional team, Heriot's Rugby play in FOSROC with the Men's 1st XV playing in the Men's Scottish Premiership. The women play in . The club's Goldenacre Sports Ground, home is in the Goldenacre area in Edinburgh.Bath, p89 The rugby club, founded in 1890, was originally intended for former pupils of George Heriot's School, but is now an open club, welcoming rugby players of all levels. Simon Marcus Taylor (born 17 August 1979) is a Scottish retired professional rugby union footballer who played for Bath Rugby, Stade Français and Edinburgh Rugby. He played as a back-row forward, usually a number eight. Bruce Andrew Ferguson Douglas (born 10 February 1980) is a former Scottish rugby union rugby player. He played as a prop, and had been signed with French top 14 club Montpellier from July 2008 up until March 2010 when it was confirmed that he was signed with Worcester Warriors.
