Henry Scarpelli
Henry Scarpelli (July 30, 1930 – April 4, 2010) was an American comic book artist. His work won him recognition from the industry, including the Shazam Award for Best Inker (Humor Division) in 1970, for his work on ''Date With Debbi'', '' Leave It to Binky'', and other DC comics, including the series based on the '' Margie'' television sit-com. He is also noted for his work for Archie Comics, including drawing the daily ''Archie'' comic strip for most of the 1990s and 2000s. His son is actor Glenn Scarpelli, who has appeared in several one-off features in the Archie books under the umbrella title "Glenn Scarpelli in Hollywood". Death Scarpelli died at the age of 79 on April 4, 2010, after a long illness. Concord, Staten Island
Concord is a neighborhood located in the borough of Staten Island in New York City, New York, United States. Located in northeastern Staten Island, and bordered by the neighborhoods of Grasmere, Clifton, Dongan Hills, Emerson Hill, and Old Town, Concord was named Dutch Farms originally, but was renamed in 1845 after Concord, Massachusetts as a consequence of that town's historical significance. ''Margie'' is an American television sitcom starring Cynthia Pepper that was broadcast on ABC from October 12, 1961 to August 31, 1962. Premise ''Margie'' was set in the Roaring Twenties. Margie Clayton lived with her parents, a little brother, and an aunt. Maybelle Jackson (her best friend) was a flapper. Two boys, Heywood Batts and Johnny Green, vied for Margie's affection. The locale was Madison, a small town "somewhere in New England". The series was adapted from the 1946 film of the same name starring Jeanne Crain. Galerie Lambiek is a Dutch comic book store and art gallery in Amsterdam, founded on November 8, 1968 by Kees Kousemaker (, – Bussum, ), though since 2007, his son Boris Kousemaker is the current owner. From 1968 to 2015, it was located in the Kerkstraat, but in November 2015, the store moved to the Koningsstraat 27. Rik Offenberger (born January 30, 1964) is an American comic book journalist and publicity agent, an early utilizer of the Internet for distributing comics news, and the public relations coordinator of Archie Comics. Career Offenberger started his career in comics as a retailer at Paper Hero Comics in Chino, California. Grasmere, Staten Island
Grasmere is the name of a neighborhood located on the East Shore of Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City. Grasmere although crossed by major roads has retained its quiet suburban character.
