Henry M. Thompson
Henry Mayo Thompson (December 28, 1861 – ?) was an American businessman and politician. Born in Dover, Maine, Thompson moved with his parents to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a clerk in a bank in Milwaukee. In 1888, Thompson moved to Mosinee, Wisconsin where he worked in the lumber industry. He served as supervisor of the Village of Mosinee. Dover-Foxcroft is the largest town in and the seat of Piscataquis County, Maine, United States. The population was 4,422 at the 2020 census. The town is located near the geographic center of the state. History Dover-Foxcroft was originally two towns, Dover and Foxcroft, separated by the Piscataquis River. Mosinee is a city in Marathon County, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Wausau, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,452 at the time of the 2020 census. History Early history The traditional inhabitants of the area were the Ojibwe, the Potawatomi and the Menominee. The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
