Henry Kiprono Kirwa
Henry Kiprono Kirwa (born 4 May 1973), commonly known as Henry Kirwa, is a Paralympian Track and field, athlete from Kenya competing mainly in category T13 middle-distance events. He competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China, China. There he won a gold medal in the men's 1500 metres - T13 event, a gold medal in the men's 5000 metres - T13 event and a gold medal in the men's 10000 metres - T12 event. T12 (classification)
B2 is a medical based Paralympic disability sport classification, classification for blindness, blind sport. Competitors in this classification have vision that falls between the B1 (classification), B1 and B3 (classification), B3 classes. The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) defines this classification as "visual acuity ranging from LogMAR chart, LogMAR 1.50 to 2.60 (inclusive) and/or visual field constricted to a diameter of less than 10 degrees." It is used by a number of blind sports including para-alpine skiing, para-Nordic skiing, blind cricket, blind golf, Paralympic association football#Football 5-a-side, five-a-side football, goalball and Paralympic judo, judo.
