Henry (producer)
Henry is an Indian film producer and film distributor, who heads the studios Carolina Films and Pangaj Productions. History Henry began his film career as a producer through Carolina Films and notably made ''Yavanika'' (1982), a Malayalam film with Mammootty in the lead role. The film performed well commercially and launched the career of Mammootty, while Henry won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film prize. Despite the success, Henry moved on to make Tamil films and produced several films in Madras. He made '' Kolangal'' (1995) through Carolina Films, but created Pangaj Productions for his next release ''Bharathi Kannamma'' (1997), the debut of director Cheran. A film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing. The producer is responsible for finding and selecting promising material for development. Unless the film is based on an existing script, the producer hires a screenwriter and oversees the script's development. These activities culminate with the pitch, led by the producer, to secure the financial backing that enables production to begin. If all succeeds, the project is " greenlighted". Dara Singh (Bajrang Dal)
Dara Singh (born Rabindra Kumar Pal; 2 October 1962) is an Indian convicted murderer and a Bajrang Dal activist. He was previously a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was convicted for leading a mob and setting fire to the Station wagon in which the Australian Christian missionary Graham Staines and his two children were sleeping, burning them all alive, in Orissa. Singh had been convicted in the murder of Muslim trader Shaikh Rehman, he chopped off his arms before setting him ablaze at Padibeda village in Karanjia sub-division of Mayurbhanj district. He was also convicted in the murder of a Christian priest, Fr. Arul Das, in Jamboni village in the same district. The priest was killed by an arrow during his escape, after his church was set on fire. Daggubati Venkatesh, credited as Raja, is an Indian actor who has acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu language films. The actor made his debut in the 1981 Tamil film, ''Paakku Vethalai'', before going on to become a leading actor in the Tamil film industry from 1986 to 2000. Nedumudi Venu
Kesavan Venugopal (22 May 1948 – 11 October 2021), better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam and also in Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), is a union for film producers in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, based in Chennai. Formed on 18 July 1979, the group has a charitable trust fund to provide financial support to retired producers, voiced support for film producers and have collectively protested for socio-political issues.
