Henrik Pedersen
Henrik Pedersen (born 10 June 1975) is a retired Danish footballer who played as a striker for Silkeborg IF, Bolton Wanderers and Hull City. He played three games for the Danish national team. Career Silkeborg Born in Kjellerup, Denmark, Pedersen started his career with Danish club Silkeborg IF in 1995. He made his debut for the Danish national team in an August 2000 game against the Faroe Islands. He finished the second highest scoring player of the 2000–01 Superliga season and helped Silkeborg win the 2001 Danish Cup trophy. Bolton Wanderers Pedersen signed for Bolton Wanderers on 3 July 2001 for £650,000, both Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart had expressed interest in taking Pedersen to the Bundesliga that summer as well. 2001–02 Football League Cup
The 2001–02 Football League Cup (known as the Worthington Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 42nd staging of the Football League Cup, a knockout competition for England's top 92 football clubs. The competition began on 20 August 2001, and ended with the final on 26 February 2002 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff as Wembley Stadium had been closed for a rebuild. The tournament was won by Blackburn Rovers, who beat Tottenham Hotspur 2–1 in the final, thanks to single strikes from Matt Jansen and Andy Cole, sandwiched by an equaliser from Christian Ziege. Carpenter

Martin Retov
Martin Retov (; born 5 May 1980) is a Danish football coach and former player. He works as the assistant coach of Brøndby IF. He has played more than 200 games for Brøndby IF. Retov began his career at Køge Boldklub, joining their youth team in 1996 and making his first-team debut in 1999. He experienced promotion to the Danish Superliga in the 2001–02 season, and after making 89 league appearances for Køge he moved to Brøndby IF. He played an influential role at the club for six seasons and was a key member of the team that won the domestic double in 2004–05 and three Danish Cups. In 2008, Retov was signed by Hansa Rostock for a fee believed to be €1 million. He became a regular and team captain during his time in Germany, but also suffered relegation to the 3. Liga in 2010. The 2001–02 Danish Superliga season was the 12th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It took place from the first match on July 21, 2001, to final match on May 16, 2002. Relegation
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time.
