Kala Bhushana Vithanage Hemapala Perera (born on 20 October 1942 as :si:හේමපාල පෙරේරා, හේමපාල පෙරේරා [Sinhala]), popularly as Hemapala Master, is a musician and renowned flautist in Cinema of Sri Lanka, Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. Personal life He was born on 20 October 1942 in Pinnarawa village, Badulla as the youngest in a family with five siblings. He has three elder sisters and two elder brothers. His father was Romiel Perera and mother was Nanda Perera. Badulla
Badulla (, ; ,) is the capital and the largest city of Uva Province situated in the central hills of Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of Uva Province and the Badulla District. Geography Badulla is located in the southeast of Kandy, almost encircled by the Badulu Oya River, about above sea level and is surrounded by tea plantations. The city is overshadowed by the Namunukula range of mountains (highest peak above sea level). Deepa Milton Sarath Dassanayake ( Sinhala: සරත් දසනායක; born 13 August 1942 and died 18 November 1999), popularly known as Sarath Dassanayake, was a Sri Lankan composer, film producer and a renowned musician. One of the pioneer music composers in Sinhala cinema, Dassanayake has contributed to more than around 150 films and 600 film songs as a composer. The University of Sri Jayewardenepura (also known as Jayawardhanapura University or USJ; , ) is a public university in Sri Lanka.
