Hemant Gupta
Hemant Gupta (born 17 October 1957) is a former judge of Supreme Court of India. He is also a former chief justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court and judge of the Patna High Court and Punjab and Haryana High Court. He retired on 16 October 2022. Career Gupta enrolled as an advocate in July 1980 and started practice in the District Court of Chandigarh. He entered in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and worked on civil, labour, company and constitutional matters. In 1997 he was appointed additional advocate general of Punjab and elevated as a judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 2 July 2002. Gupta was transferred to the Patna High Court in February 2016, thereafter took over the charge of acting chief justice of the Patna High Court after the retirement of Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari on 29 October 2016. High Court Of Punjab And Haryana
Punjab and Haryana High Court is the common High Court for the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh based in Chandigarh, India. Sanctioned strength of Judges of this High Court is 85 consisting of 64 Permanent Judges and 21 Additional Judges including Chief Justice. As of 14 September 2023, there are 58 Judges working in the High Court, comprising 36 Permanent and 22 Additional Judges. The court building is known as the Palace of Justice. Ranjan Gogoi
Ranjan Gogoi (born 18 November 1954) is an Indian retired jurist and advocate who served as the 46th Chief Justice of India from 2018 to 2019. He is currently a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Member of the Rajya Sabha, having been List of nominated members of the Rajya Sabha, nominated by President of India, President Ram Nath Kovind on 16 March 2020. Kocheril Raman Narayanan
Kocheril Raman "K. R." Narayanan (27 October 1920 – 9 November 2005) was an Indian statesman, diplomat, academic, and politician who served as the vice president of India from 1992 to 1997 and president of India from 1997 to 2002. Narayanan was born in Perumthanam, Uzhavoor village, in the princely state of Travancore (present day Kottayam district, Kerala) into a Hindu family.
