Helsfyr-Sinsen was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway, from 1988 to January 1, 2004, when it was split up and merged into Alna and Gamle Oslo boroughs. Alna
Alna is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It is named after the Alna River, River Alna, which flows through it. The borough consists of the following neighborhoods: * Alnabru * Ellingsrud * Furuset * Haugerud, Oslo, Haugerud * Hellerud * Lindeberg, Oslo, Lindeberg * Teisen * Trosterud * Tveita In the Oslo borough reform in 2004, the borough Helsfyr-Sinsen was removed, and the neighborhoods Teisen and Bryn were included in Alna. Demographics As of 1 January 2020 there were 49,801 people living in the borough. Of these, 24,943 (50.1%) were male. There were 1,495 immigrants from Western countries and 24,943 from Non-Western countries (50%). Oslo

Etterstad
Etterstad () is a neighborhood in Oslo, located between the river Alna and Strømsveien, north of Vålerenga. It was incorporated into Oslo in 1946, two years before the merger of Oslo and Aker. The area is mainly residential. History The area takes its name from Etterstad Farm, that was located close to the present Helsfyr area, about where the current Helsfyr T-bane station is located. The farm name is Old Norse and is a contraction of ''Eitill'' (a person's name) and ''stad'' (meaning "place"). Records of the farm are recorded back to 1396 as an estate of the bishop. It remained church property until 1795 when it was taken over by the city and made a military training field, in exchange for a rent paid by the city to the bishop. At the time the city was obliged to provide ground for the military. The military gave the area the name ''Etterstadsletta'', and was in use as a training field until 1881. Carl Berners Plass
Carl Berners plass is a square in Oslo, Norway. It is located in the borough Helsfyr, south of Sinsen. The Sinsen Line of the Oslo Tramway runs over the square. The colloquial expression for the square is just "Carl Berner". Around the square is a large number of shops as well as inexpensive restaurants. At the southern end of the area is the large Tøyen Park. The name The square is colloquially known simply as 'Carl Berner'. It is named after Carl Christian Berner (1841–1918), a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.
