Help Needed () is a charitable foundation that helps other charities and social projects in Russia. The mission of the foundation is the systematic development of charity in the country and changing the attitude of society towards solving social problems. The foundation systematically implements projects aimed at the interaction and development of all parts of society related to solving social problems. The main goals are to strengthen the nonprofit sector in Russia, so that employees can maintain a high level of professionalism; to have the number of charities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) be sufficient to address the needs of a vulnerable population; and finally, to actively involve all citizens in solving social problems. The foundation works as a fund of funds, fundraising for other non-profit organizations, including charitable foundations. A non-governmental organization (NGO) is an independent, typically nonprofit organization that operates outside government control, though it may get a significant percentage of its funding from government or corporate sources. Krymsk
Krymsk (; Adyghe: Хьэтуехьэблэ, Ḥătueḥăblă; ) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Population: 57,927 (2020), History It was founded in 1858 as the fortress and ''stanitsa'' of Krymskaya (), named after the Crimean Cossack Regiment. It was the first capital of the Greek Autonomous District, between 1930 and 1932. The ''stanitsa'' was granted town status and given its present name a century later, in 1958. 2012 Krasnodar Krai Floods
The 2012 Krasnodar Krai floods were floods in southwest Russia in early July 2012, mainly in Krasnodar Krai near the coast of the Black Sea. The equivalent of five months of rain fell overnight in some southern parts of the country according to the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia. One hundred seventy-one people died during the floods. According to the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Aleksandr Tkachyov (politician), Aleksandr Tkachyov, "there was nothing of the kind for the last 70 years". The flood was part of the aftermath of an intense storm that hit Krasnodar, dropping almost half a year's worth of rainfall on the region over two days.
