Drew Gitlin (born May 26, 1958) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. As a qualifier, Gitlin reached the third round of the gentlemen's singles event at Wimbledon in 1982 where he lost to eventual champion Jimmy Connors. Gitlin reached a career high singles ranking of world No. 88 in January, 1983. During his career, he won three doubles titles and reached a doubles ranking of world No. 38 in April 1985. Jakob Hlasek (; born 12 November 1964) is a Swiss former professional tennis player of Czech origin. He won a major doubles title at the 1992 French Open, partnering Marc Rosset. Career The major highlights of Hlasek's career came in 1992. He won the French Open men's doubles title that year (partnering fellow Swiss player Marc Rosset). Barr grew up near Chicago in Highland Park, Illinois and played college tennis for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, from 1975 to 1978. He served as team captain in his senior year. Jan Kodeš (born 1 March 1946) is a Czech former professional tennis player. A three-time major singles champion, Kodeš was one of the premier players in the early 1970s. Kodeš's greatest success was achieved on the clay courts of the French Open, where he won the singles title in 1970 and 1971. However, he also won Wimbledon on grass courts in 1973, although the tournament was largely boycotted by top players that year in a show of solidarity over the ban of Nikola Pilić by the International Lawn Tennis Federation (ILTF). Kodeš never played at the Australian Open, but was twice the runner-up at the US Open, in 1971 and 1973. Kodeš reached his highest ATP ranking of world No. 5 in September 1973. Bernhard Pils (born 20 October 1961) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Career Pils was a semi-finalist in the boys' singles event at the 1979 French Open. In 1982 Australian Open, Pils competed in both the men's singles and doubles draws. He had a five set win over Mark Kratzmann in the opening round and came close to beating American Mike Estep in the second round, claiming the first two sets and taking the third into a tiebreak, but ultimately lost in another five set match. His doubles campaign ended in the first round, where he and partner Peter Feigl were beaten by Dale Collings and Cliff Letcher.
