''The Car'' is the seventh studio album by English Rock music, rock band Arctic Monkeys, released on 21 October 2022 by Domino Recording Company. The album's songs were primarily written by frontman and guitarist Alex Turner in his Los Angeles home and Paris. It was produced in Suffolk, Paris and London by frequent Arctic Monkeys collaborator James Ford (musician), James Ford, alongside frequent guest musicians Milburn (band), Tom Rowley, Guards (band), Loren Humphrey and Tyler Parkford, and arranged by Bridget Samuels, Ford and Turner. Drummer Matt Helders took the picture on the album cover, which depicts a white Toyota Camry in an otherwise empty parking garage on a Los Angeles rooftop. Arctic Monkeys
Arctic Monkeys are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. They comprise lead singer Alex Turner, drummer Matt Helders, guitarist Jamie Cook and bassist Nick O'Malley. The co-founder and original bassist Andy Nicholson left in 2006. Matt Helders
Matthew Helders (born 7 May 1986) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, who is the drummer and occasional singer of the rock band Arctic Monkeys. He has also released a studio album and collaborated with artists such as Dean Fertita, Josh Homme and Iggy Pop. Career The most comprehensive backing vocalist of the group, Helders's vocals have been featured on many of the band's songs. Tyler Parkford
Tyler Davis Parkford is an American musician, best known as the keyboardist and vocalist for Los Angeles–based band Mini Mansions. He is also one half of the lounge pop duo Mister Goodnite, and a touring member of the British indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. Early life Parkford grew up in Long Beach, California. He studied classical piano as a child and later learned to play the guitar. He attended film school at the University of California, Santa Cruz. It was there that he met future bandmate Zach Dawes. Along with Queens of the Stone Age bassist Michael Shuman, the trio formed Mini Mansions in 2009.
