Heledd Fychan
Heledd Fychan (born 20 September 1980) is a Welsh politician and is the current director of policy and political education for Plaid Cymru. She was elected to the Senedd for the South Wales Central region in May 2021. Early life Fychan is originally from Anglesey, and attended Ysgol Gynradd Talwrn and Ysgol Gyfun David Hughes. She studied History and Political Science at Trinity College Dublin, becoming Education Office for Trinity College Dublin's Student Union in 2003-2004, and Education Officer for the Union of Students in Ireland in 2004-2005. After completing a Masters in Medieval History at Bangor Univeristy, Fychan worked for the Plaid Cymru group in London. From 2009 to 2021, she worked for National Museum Wales. In 2016, she was elected to the Board of the Museums Association, becoming Chair of their Nations and Ethics Committees. A Member of the Senedd (MS; plural: ''MSs''; cy, Aelodau o'r Senedd; , plural:) (AS)., group=la is a representative elected to the Senedd (Welsh Parliament; ). There are sixty members, with forty members chosen to represent individual Senedd constituencies, and twenty to represent the five electoral regions of the Senedd in Wales. Mick Antoniw
Mick Antoniw ( uk, Мік Антонів; born 1 September 1954) is a Welsh Labour and Co-operative politician, serving as Counsel General for Wales since 2021, and previously from 2016 to 2017. He has been the Member of the Senedd (MS) for Pontypridd since 2011. Early life Antoniw comes from a Ukrainian family, with a Danish mother and came to the UK as a result of his father seeking refugee status in the UK following World War II. Antoniw came to Wales to study law at the Cardiff Law School in 1973. He was President of the National Union of Students Wales from 1977 to 1979. Professional career He was a practising solicitor before his election to the Senedd, specialising in personal injury. Pontypridd is a constituency of the Senedd. It elects one Member of the Senedd by the first past the post method of election. It is also one of eight constituencies in the South Wales Central electoral region that elects four additional members (along with eight constituency members), to produce a degree of proportional representation for the region as a whole. The 2010 United Kingdom general election was held on Thursday 6 May 2010, with 45,597,461 registered voters entitled to vote to elect members to the House of Commons. The election took place in 650 constituencies across the United Kingdom under the first-past-the-post system.
