Hela (character)
Hela () is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is based on the goddess Hel from Norse mythology, and was first adapted by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in ''Journey into Mystery'' #102. Hela is the Asgardian Goddess of Death who serves as the ruler of Hel and Niflheim. The character is usually depicted as an adversary of the superhero Thor. Hela made her live-action debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film '' Thor: Ragnarok'' (2017), portrayed by Cate Blanchett. Blanchett also voiced alternate versions of the character in the animated series '' What If...?''. Niflheim
In Norse cosmology, Niflheim or Niflheimr (Old Norse: ; "World of Mist", literally "Home of Mist") is a location which sometimes overlaps with the notions of Niflhel and Hel. The name ''Niflheimr'' appears only in two extant sources: ''Gylfaginning'' and the much-debated ''Hrafnagaldr Óðins''. Niflheim was primarily a realm of primordial ice and cold, with the frozen rivers of Élivágar and the well of Hvergelmir, from which come all the rivers. According to ''Gylfaginning'', Niflheim was the first of the two primordial realms to emanate out of Ginnungagap, the other one being Muspelheim, the realm of fire. Between these two realms of cold and heat, creation began when its waters mixed with the heat of Muspelheim to form a "creating steam". Later, it became the abode of Hel, a goddess daughter of Loki, and the afterlife for her subjects, those who did not die a heroic or notable death. Wrecker (comics)
The Wrecker (Dirk Garthwaite) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character made his live-action debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series '' She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'', portrayed by Nick Gomez. Publication history Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Wrecker made his first appearance in '' The Mighty Thor'' #148 (January 1968). Fictional character biography Dirk Garthwaite, a.k.a. the Wrecker, first appeared in ''Thor'', and is depicted as a former manual laborer for a demolitions crew who is fired for his violent and anti-social tendencies. Garthwaite created a costume for himself and called himself the Wrecker, committing a series of robberies, demolishing looted locations and leaving a crowbar at the scene of the crime. Odin Borson, the All-Father is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
