''Hehes'' is a 2022 Maldivian suspense thriller film directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced by Ismail Shafeeq and Ali Shaniz Mohamed under Eupe Productions and Shy Production, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu, Ibrahim Jihad, Ali Azim, Shiyaza Mohamed, Washiya Mohamed, Irufana Ibrahim and Mariyam Shifa in pivotal roles. The film was released on 2 May 2022, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1443. Plot Sara (Shiyaza Mohamed) invites her Instagram friend, Ina (Washiya Mohamed) to her island to capture nature photos, who happens to be her husband, Naveen's (Yoosuf Shafeeu) ex-girlfriend. Naveen broke up with Ina, four years ago, due to her behavior and thirst for money. Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. His interest in films and acting grew due to the influence of his colleagues including Easa Shareef and other friends who actively take part in theatre plays. Career Nimal made his career debut with ''Nufoozu'' (1984), an initiation by Shareef and his colleagues. Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, writer, and director. One of the most successful filmmakers and actors in Maldivian Cinema, Shafeeu is the recipient of a number of awards, including eight Gaumee Film Awards, and a Maldives Film Award; ; holding the record of collecting maximum Gaumee Film Award for Best Actor. Irufana Ibrahim is a Maldivian film actress. Career Ibrahim made her acting debut in a recurring role in the first Maldivian web-series, a romantic drama by Fathimath Nahula, ''Huvaa'' which initiated streaming in November 2018. Mariyam Shifa (22 November 1999) is a Maldivian film actress. Early life Shifa attributed her singing and dancing skills to her parents; her father being a prominent boduberu player and her mother being a singer, played a huge role in accomplishing her "dream of becoming an actor". Ali Azim is a Maldivian film actor. Career 2010–2016: Early releases Azim expressed his interest in acting at a very young age. Before he pursued a career in acting Azim worked as a dancer and stage performer. He was first recognized by the audience for his facial expressions while dancing. Goidhoo (Baa Atoll)
Goidhoo (Dhivehi: ގޮއިދޫ) is one of the inhabited islands of Southern Maalhosmadulhu Atoll, code letter "Baa". History In the 19th century, a female African slave who had been bought by the king on his Hajj trip to Mecca was formally released from slavery and was settled in Goidhoo island. A house and a well were built for her. This African woman was called Salaamaa.
