Hedley (band)
Hedley was a Canadian pop rock band that originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia, originally formed in 2003. They were named after the Unincorporated area, unincorporated community of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $346,000. After lead singer Jacob Hoggard placed third on the Canadian Idol (season 2), second season of ''Canadian Idol'' in 2004, the group signed with Universal Music Canada and released their Hedley (album), self-titled debut studio album the following year. The 34th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada between September 10 and September 19, 2009. The opening night gala presented the Charles Darwin biography '' Creation''. ''The Young Victoria'', based on the early years of Queen Victoria, closed the festival on September 19. ''Famous Last Words'' is the second studio album by Canadian pop-rock band Hedley. It was released on October 30, 2007. It debuted at number three on the Canadian Albums Chart upon release. In the United States, the album is known as ''Never Too Late'' and was released on May 12, 2009. The album only includes 8 tracks from the Canadian release and contains 5 tracks from '' Hedley'', which replaced the missing tracks from ''Famous Last Words''. Unlike ''Famous Last Words'', ''Never Too Late'' has a blue background on its album cover, whereas the Canadian release has a red background on its cover.
