Heaven Island
Heaven Island ( tr, Cennet Adası, also known as Paradise Island or the Nimara Peninsula) is a peninsula near the city of Marmaris, Turkey. Heaven Island is situated about 8 km from Marmaris, and is connected with the mainland by an isthmus known as the Fake Strait ( tr, Yalancı Boğazı). The region has been officially recognized for its natural and archeological heritage and brought under protection for both its natural and archeological values. Ancient human presence The remnants of archeological importance are located at the highest point of the island and these belong to one of the three branches of ancient settlements around Marmaris. Marmaris
Marmaris () is a port city and tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, located in Muğla Province, southwest Turkey, along the shoreline of the Turkish Riviera. Although Marmaris is known for its honey, its main source of income is international tourism. Fethiye
Fethiye () is a city and district of Muğla Province in the Aegean Region of Turkey. It is one of the prominent tourist destinations in the Turkish Riviera. In 2019 its population was 162,686. Butterfly Valley ( tr, Kelebekler Vadisi) is a valley in Fethiye district, Muğla Province, on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The valley is home to diverse butterfly species.
