Heatherdown Preparatory School
Heatherdown School, formally called Heatherdown Preparatory School, was an independent preparatory school for boys, near Ascot, in the English county of Berkshire. Set in of grounds, it typically taught between eighty and ninety boys between the ages of seven and thirteen and closed in 1982. A preparatory school (or, shortened: prep school) in the United Kingdom is a fee-charging Private schools in the United Kingdom, private primary school that caters for children up to approximately the age of 13. Sir Angus James Bruce Ogilvy (14 September 1928 – 26 December 2004) was a British businessman. He is best known as the husband of Princess Alexandra of Kent, a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. William Legge, 10th Earl of Dartmouth (born 23 September 1949), styled Viscount Lewisham from 1962 to 1997, is a British politician and hereditary peer, usually known as William Dartmouth. Giles John Harry Goschen, 4th Viscount Goschen (born 16 November 1965), is a British Conservative politician. Air Vice-Marshal Sir Edward Hedley "Mouse" Fielden, (4 December 1903 – 8 November 1976) was a senior Royal Air Force commander and a pilot of the Second World War. Early life He was born in Bracknell, Berkshire, on 4 December 1903, the elder son of surgeon Edward Fielden, and his wife, Maud Jennie Armstrong. He was educated at Heatherdown School, Ascot, and Malvern College where he joined the Officers' Training Corps. He obtained a short service commission with the Royal Air Force in 1924, aged 21, flying with No. 25 and then No. 23 Squadron in 1925 and 1926. Alexander Claud Cockburn ( ; 6 June 1941 – 21 July 2012) was a Scottish-born Irish-American political journalist and writer.
