Heather Suttie
Heather Suttie is an occasional PR and Scottish TV & radio presenter, most recently on Heart Scotland. In 2001, aged 26, she presented BBC Children's Saturday morning show ''Live & Kicking''. She has written tabloid features on travel, lifestyle, environmentalism, plastic bags, recycled fashion and had a short book and podcasts review in Scotland’s Sunday Mail. Live & Kicking
''Live & Kicking'' was a British children's television series that originally aired on BBC1 from 2 October 1993 to 15 September 2001. It was the replacement for '' Going Live!'', and took many of its features from it, such as phone-ins, games, comedy, competitions and the showing of cartoons. Once ''Live & Kicking'' had become established in series two, it reached its height in popularity during series four, when it was presented by Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston; their final edition won a BAFTA award. After this, the programme's ratings dropped with the launch of '' SMTV Live'' on ITV and the show ended in 2001. History ''Live & Kicking'' was conceived as a replacement for '' Going Live!''. Smooth Radio (2014)
Smooth Radio is a network of local radio stations broadcasting on FM and DAB in the United Kingdom. It no longer broadcasts any outlets on AM since the last outlet on medium wave ceased at 1:00pm on Friday 28th February 2025. Smooth Radio previously featured a soft adult contemporary radio format but has introduced more upbeat music since 2023. Launched in March 2014, it replaced the national Smooth Radio that had launched in 2010 on FM and DAB, and most outlets of Gold on AM. Each FM station broadcasts localised breakfast with networked shows simulcast from London at all other times. Four of the seven FM stations, and the former AM stations, are owned and operated by Global, with the remaining three FM licences owned by Communicorp UK and run as a franchise. According to RAJAR, the network broadcasts to a combined weekly audience of 6.6 million with a listening share of 4.1% as of September 2024. Moviewatch
''Moviewatch'' is a film review television programme broadcast on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. It ran for six seasons from 17 January 1993 to 2 March 1998. The programme was hosted in the studio by Johnny Vaughan together with a female reporter - Laurie Pike in the first season, Sally Gray in series 2-3 and Alex McLeod in series 4-6 - who would generally be based in LA. Moviewatch was produced by Chapter One productions and filmed at the Channel 4's Horseferry Road headquarters in London. Each week four members of the public would watch four forthcoming films. They would then discuss each film in turn, along with Johnny. There would also be interviews with actors and directors as well as news about upcoming films. The guest reviewers would mark each film out of ten. The film with the highest rating at the end of the show was declared the Moviewatch Film of the Week. The ''Daily Record'' is a Scottish national tabloid newspaper based in Glasgow. The newspaper is published Monday–Saturday and its website is updated on an hourly basis, seven days a week. The ''Record'' sister title is the '' Sunday Mail''. Both titles are owned by Reach plc and have a close kinship with the UK-wide ''Daily Mirror'' as a result.
