Heart On
''Heart On'' is the third studio album from American rock band Eagles of Death Metal, released on October 28, 2008. When asked about the album, lead singer Jesse Hughes stated: "EODM's latest fabulous weapon, a top-secret music missile, a sonic warhead sexually tipped for her pleasure, shot from the deck of USS EODM Mantastic Fantastic." The album was mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering by Brian Gardner. On September 12, 2008, Pitchfork Media released new information on ''Heart On'', including the album cover and track list. The first single was "Wannabe in LA". The video for the song debuted on the band's MySpace and depicts Jesse Hughes appearing on a Pin Art in a similar style to the music video for Nine Inch Nails' "Only". There is an alternative version of the video; dubbed the "standard version", which only features Jesse Hughes. The video was directed by Liam Lynch. Eagles Of Death Metal
Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums), the band also includes a wide range of other musicians who perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows. Hughes and Homme are the only permanent members of the band, with Homme rarely performing at live shows due to commitment to his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. The band's current touring line-up includes Hughes alongside Josh Jove (guitar), Eden Galindo (guitar), Jennie Vee (bass) and Jorma Vik (drums). Despite their name, Eagles of Death Metal are not a death metal band, and the name is intended to be humorous. Jesse Everett Hughes (born September 24, 1972) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Eagles of Death Metal, with whom he has recorded four studio albums and a live album. Hughes is also known for his solo career under the moniker Boots Electric. Early life Jesse Everett Hughes was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on September 24, 1972. "Wannabe" is the debut single by English girl group the Spice Girls. Written and composed by the group members in collaboration with Matt Rowe and Richard "Biff" Stannard during the group's first professional songwriting session, it was produced by Rowe and Stannard for the group's debut album, ''Spice'', released in November 1996. The song was written, composed, and recorded very quickly but the result was considered lacklustre by their label and was sent to be mixed by Dave Way. The group was not pleased with the result, and the recording was mixed again, this time by Mark "Spike" Stent. Much (an abbreviation for its full name MuchMusic) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults. William Patrick Niederst (born September 5, 1970), better known as Liam Lynch, is an American filmmaker, singer, musician, songwriter, and puppeteer. While studying at LIPA in Liverpool, Lynch co-created, co-wrote, directed, scored, and produced the 1998 MTV comedy puppet series '' The Sifl and Olly Show''. His 2003 album ''Fake Songs'' featured the song "United States of Whatever", which charted in the Top 10 in Australia and the United Kingdom.
