''Heart'' is the third greatest hits album by Japanese band Tokio. It was released on July 16, 2014, through J Storm. The album debuted atop the Oricon Albums Chart, selling 41,000 copies. It became Tokio's second number-one album in Japan and first number-one album since ''TOK10'' (2004). Tokio (band)
Tokio is a Japanese rock/ pop band formed by Johnny & Associates that debuted in 1994. It is made up of three men who were signed with Sony Music Entertainment from 1994 to 2001, with Universal Music Japan from 2001 to 2008, and are now signed under J Storm, a label owned by Johnny & Associates. In addition to their activities as a band, the members of Tokio also act in dozens of dramas and host variety programmes, both as a group and individually. The group's name "Tokio" was the old English romanization for Japan's capital Tokyo, and remains the current transliteration in several European languages. Unlike most other bands under Johnny & Associates, where all of the band members are usually only vocalists, Tokio only has one main vocalist, a drummer, a guitarist, a bassist, and a keyboardist. Masahiro Matsuoka
is a Japanese drummer and actor. He is a member of Tokio, a musical group of Starto Entertainment formerly known as Johnny & Associates. His nicknames are Mabo and Maa-kun. He starred as Shinichi Ozaki in '' Godzilla: Final Wars'', and comedy series '' Yasuko to Kenji''. Career As an artist Matsuoka joined the pop/rock band Tokio as a drummer in 1990, although the band did not debut until 1994. Along with other Tokio members, he was a background dancer for idol bands such as Hikaru Genji. As an actor Matsuoka has had parts in over 20 dramas. The band's debut single "Gunjō Biyori" was released in September 2004, and they ended activities in February 2012. The band sold 2.3 million albums, singles, and DVDs. , known by her stage name , is a Japanese singer, songwriter and musician. She is also the founder and lead vocalist of the band Tokyo Jihen. She describes herself as "". She was ranked number 36 in a list of Japan's top 100 musicians compiled by HMV in 2003. is a song by Japanese band Tokio. It was one of the two A-sides that composed the band's 39th single, along with the song "Akireru Kurai Bokura wa Negaō". The single was released on September 3, 2008, and was their first release with J Storm. "Amagasa" was written by Japanese rock musician Ringo Sheena.
