Headlights (band)
Headlights was an American indie rock band from Champaign, Illinois on Polyvinyl Records. The band was formed following the dissolution of Absinthe Blind, when members Seth, Erin and Brett Sanderson formed a band named Orphans. It was only when Tristan Wraight joined that Headlights was formed. Headlights released ''The Enemies EP'' in 2004, and followed that up in 2006 with a split single with Canadian indie rock band The Most Serene Republic. Later in 2006, the band released their debut album, '' Kill Them with Kindness'', which received generally positive reviews. Nick Sanborn (of Decibully) and John Owen (of fellow Champaign group Shipwreck) joined the group during the summer of 2007. In 2008, their third album, '' Some Racing, Some Stopping'', was released. Undertow began in 1996 in St. Louis, Missouri, as a collective of independent artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers and creative managers sharing resources, ideas, and a love of music. Undertow Music is currently located in Champaign, Illinois. Record label Undertow Records was started in 1996 by Mark Ray when he released albums by his band, Waterloo, and a band they shared a studio space with, Nadine. Undertow serves as a conduit for artists to release their albums to a wider audience through digital, retail, and direct sales outlets. Audiosurf
''Audiosurf'' is a 2008 music-based puzzle video game created by Invisible Handlebar, a company founded by Dylan Fitterer. Its track-style stages visually mimic the music the player chooses, while the player races across several lanes collecting colored blocks that appear in sync with the music. The game was released on February 15, 2008, over Steam, a few days after winning the Independent Games Festival 2008 Excellence in Audio Award, heavily influenced by the soundtrack composed by Pedro Macedo Camacho. Decibully
Decibully was an indie rock band based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin that formed in 2001 and played their final show early in 2011. History Since 1992, vocalist and guitarist William Seidel and guitarist Ryan Weber had been playing in the same band, which went through a variety of names, before settling on Camden. They released their debut studio album ''Reel Time Canvas'' (2000) through the label Grand Theft Autumn. Sometime after this, Seidel served as a keyboardist for the Promise Ring, who went on a two-week tour with Camden in April and May 2001. Shortly afterwards, Weber joined the Promise Ring in time for them to record their fourth studio album, ''Wood/Water'', in the United Kingdom.
