Hay Superstar
Hay Superstar/Hye Superstar (, literally "Armenian Superstar") was the Armenian version of the British television hit show ''Pop Idol'', part of the Idol (franchise), Idol franchise. It is a talent contest to find the best young singer in Armenia. Summary History Auditions were held in Gyumri, Vanadzor, Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Yerevan. The panel of judges for the show consists of Michael Poghosyan, Egor Glumov and Naira Gurjianyan. The first season was aired on Shant TV from March to late July 2006, the second season aired from November 2006 to early April 2007. Season 3 ran exactly one year later. After a break of one year, the competition returned with a fourth season from November 2009 to March 2010. The fifth and final season aired from October 2011 to April 2012. Simon Robert Fuller (born 17 May 1960) is a British entrepreneur, artist manager, and film and television producer. André Sergeyi Hovnanyan (; born July 8, 1979), better known by the mononym André (), is an Armenians, Armenian singer. He was one of the most popular pop stars of Armenia during the mid-2000s, winning the Best Male Singer trophy at various Armenian Music Awards, Armenia Music Awards in 2004–2018. Upon winning the musical contest "Road to Renaissance" at the age of fifteen, he laid the foundation of his professional career.
