Hawkeye Pictures is an independent Canadian production company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It produces feature films, documentaries and series. Its inaugural project was the Cannes Semaine de la Critique selection '' Sleeping Giant''. In 2022, both Sheila Pye's '' The Young Arsonists'' and Clement Virgo's ''Brother'' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Critics' Week (), until 2008 called International Critics' Week ('), is a parallel section to the Cannes Film Festival organized by the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics. ''Sleeping Giant'' is a 2015 Canadian drama film written and directed by Andrew Cividino. The film follows three teenage boys coping with boredom in cottage country on the shores of Lake Superior. The film premiered in the Critics' Week section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Sook-Yin Lee is a Canadian broadcaster, musician, film director, actress and multimedia artist. She is a former MuchMusic VJ and a former radio host on CBC Radio.
