''Aksjeselskap'' is the Norwegian term for a stock-based company. It is usually abbreviated AS, historically often written as A/S. An AS is always a limited company, i.e. the owners cannot be held liable for any debt beyond the stock capital. Public companies are called Allmennaksjeselskap (ASA), while companies without limited liability are called ''Ansvarlig selskap'' (ANS). All AS companies must have a stock capital of at least NOK 30,000. Fosnavåg
is a town in the municipality of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is the administrative center of the municipality of Herøy. The town is located on the island of Bergsøya, and it includes the Eggesbønes area on the south side of the island. Fosnavåg is connected to the nearby village of Kvalsund on the island of Nerlandsøya via the Nerlandsøy Bridge to the west. Fosnavåg is connected to the east by a small bridge to the island of Leinøya, which in turn is connected to the islands of Remøya and Runde via the Remøy Bridge and Runde Bridge. The village of Eggesbønes lies south of the town along the shore of the Herøyfjord, just north of the Flåvær islands and the Flåvær Lighthouse. The large island of Gurskøya lies south of Fosnavåg. Leirvik is a town and the administrative centre of Stord municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The town lies along the southern coast of the large island of Stord, along the Hardangerfjorden. The town gained "town status" in 1997. The town includes the Eldøyane peninsula where the large Kværner Stord industrial area is located.
