Hatyara (1977 Film)
''Hatyara'' () is a 1977 Hindi action crime film. Produced by Sunil Sharma and directed by Surendra Mohan, the film stars Pran, Moushumi Chatterjee, Vinod Khanna, Pradeep Kumar, Rakesh Roshan and Nirupa Roy. The film's music is by Kalyanji Anandji. Plot Daulat Singh and Bhairav Singh are bandits in India and live a violent lifestyle. Daulat is married to Shanta and has two children, Vijay and Geeta. One Diwali he accidentally kills a man, leaving behind a son and his mother almost destitute. Moved by their plight, he surrenders to the police, is arrested, tried and sentenced to life in prison. Whatever money he earns in prison, he sends it to the widow and her son. Due to his good conduct, he is discharged after several years and returns home to his now grown-up Forest Officer son, and matured daughter. The village welcomes him back and also honors him. Kanhaiyalal (1910 14 August 1982) was an Indian actor who acted in 122 films in his career, primarily in Hindi films produced in Bollywood, the Mumbai-based film industry. Early life Kanhaiyalal was born in 1910 in Varanasi. His father Pandit Bhairodutt Choube, popularly known as Choubeji, was the proprietor of the Sanatan Dharm Natak Samaj in Varanasi. With his father not in agreement with him taking up any form of stage work, he eventually wore out his father's opposition and did odd jobs in the troupe. At 16, he started writing and then moved on to small roles. When his father died, the brothers tried to run the drama company for some time.
