Hasrin Sabtu
Hasrin bin Haji Sabtu (born 25 February 1954) is a Bruneian aristocrat, politician and former police officer who served as the police commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) from 2011 to 2013, and member of Legislative Council (LegCo) from 2017 to 2022. Notably, he is the president of Retired Personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force Association (POLSARA). Education Hasrin received a diploma in police science from the National University of Malaysia after graduating. Police career Joining the RBPF on 13 October 1973, Hasrin has worked in a variety of departments within the force, including the Logistics Department, police reserve unit, police headquarters, prosecution section, police station, and district police. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Tony Tan Keng Yam (; born 7 February 1940) is a Singaporean banker and politician who served as the seventh president of Singapore between 2011 and 2017. Prior to entering politics, Tan was a general manager at OCBC Bank. He made his political debut in the 1979 by-elections as a People's Action Party (PAP) candidate contesting in Sembawang GRC and won. He later served as Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore from 1995 to 2005. The Darjah Utama Bakti Cemerlang () is a Singaporean orders and decorations, Singaporean national honour instituted in 1968. It was created to replace the ''Pingat Bakti Chemerlang'' () and is awarded to any person who has performed within Singapore any act or series of acts which constitute distinguished conduct. It may be awarded to people performing acts of distinguished conduct outside Singapore under special circumstances.
