Hasim Rusdi
Hasim bin Rusdi is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan from March 2008 to the collapse of the BN state administration in May 2018 as well as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Labu from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as the State Deputy Chairman of UMNO of Negeri Sembilan since March 2023. The Most Esteemed Order of the Defender of the Realm ( ms, Darjah Yang Mulia Pangkuan Negara) is a Malaysian federal award presented for meritorious service to the country. The Order Motto are 'Dipeliharakan Allah-Pangkuan Negara' (By the Grace of God-Defender of the Realm). The order was instituted on 6 August 1958 and initially had the five highest ranks. The People's Action Party ( abbreviation: PAP) is a major conservative centre-right political party in Singapore and is one of the three contemporary political parties represented in Parliament, alongside the opposition Workers' Party (WP) and Progress Singapore Party (PSP). 2018 Negeri Sembilan State Election
The 14th Negeri Sembilan State election was held on 9 May 2018, to elect the State Assemblymen of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly, the legislature of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. The state assemblymen is elected to 5 years term each. The Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly was dissolved on 7 April 2018 by the Head of State ( Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan) on the advice of the Head of Government ( Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan). The election was held concurrently with the 2018 Malaysian general election. In a historic result, Barisan Nasional (BN), the ruling coalition was ousted from power by Pakatan Harapan (PH). Malaysian Islamic Party
The Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS; ms, Parti Islam Se-Malaysia; ms, ڤرتي إسلام سمليسيا, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset) is an Islamist political party in Malaysia. 2013 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Sunday, 5 May 2013 to elect the members of the 13th Parliament. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, each electing one MP to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 of the 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. The elections were the first since Najib Razak became Prime Minister in 2009. A general election was held on Saturday, 8 March 2008 for members of the 12th Parliament of Malaysia.
