Harvey Stevens
Harvey Stevens (8 August 1930 – 15 December 2016) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray and Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Stevens started his career in 1948 at Collingwood and played in their 1952 Grand Final before being released by the club during the summer. In 1953, Stevens joined Footscray, the club his father Arthur had played for. He won the Footscray best and fairest award that year. Stevens is a member of Footscray's first premiership winning side, playing as a ruckman in the 1954 VFL Grand Final. Reservoir Football Club
The Reservoir Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 12 km north of Melbourne in the suburb of Reservoir. History Founded in 1923, the club initially competed in the Bourke-Evelyn Football League. After moving from Diamond Valley, Metropolitan, and Panton Hill football leagues, the club settled in the Diamond Valley Football League, now known as the Northern Football League, in 1981 where the club has remained since. The club has juniors which have won several under-age premierships in DVFL and the PDJFA. Due to a shortage of players for season 2007, the Reservoir Football Club went into recess but resumed in 2008. In 2009 the NFL Division 2 split. The bottom 6 teams (out of 14) dropped down and created Division 3. Reservoir were placed 13th and were relegated to Division 3 where they have competed ever since. Daniel Talia
Daniel Talia (born 2 October 1991) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted with selection 13 in the 2009 National Draft from the Calder Cannons. In 2012 he won the AFL Rising Star award as the best young player in the league. Talia is the great-grandson of former player Arthur Stevens, and the grandson of Harvey Stevens who played in Footscray's 1954 VFL Grand Final victory. His younger brother, Michael Talia, played for the before being traded to the Sydney Swans after the 2015 season. Pre-AFL career Talia played junior football for Greenvale and Assumption College in Kilmore, which boasts a strong football history. The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football club based in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray. The club competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Originally named the Footscray Football Club the club cites a foundation year of 1877, and it adopted the name of the local borough. Michael Talia
Michael Talia (born 11 February 1993) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs and Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is the brother of Daniel Talia. Michael is the grandson of Harvey Stevens, a former Footscray player leading the club to their first premiership in 1954. His great-grandfather, Arthur Stevens, also played for Footscray. Talia was recruited by the Western Bulldogs in the 2011 national draft with pick 39 and made his debut in round 19, 2012, against at Etihad Stadium.
