Harry Yoon
Harry Yoon, ACE, is an American film editor. He is best known for his work on ''Minari'', ''Euphoria'', ''Detroit'' and '' The Best of Enemies''. Life and career Harry was born in South Korea, and immigrated to the U.S. with his parents when he was five years old. He attended school in San Leandro, California and graduated From San Leandro High School in 1989. He graduated from Williams College and attended the Graduate Directing Program at New York University. He began his career as an editor for short films and documentaries. He has worked with some of the most renowned editors, including William Goldenberg, Stephen Mirrione and Tom Cross. Film editing is both a creative and a technical part of the post-production process of filmmaking. The term is derived from the traditional process of working with film stock, film which increasingly involves the use Digital cinema, of digital technology. When putting together some sort of video composition, typically, one would need a collection of shots and footages that vary from one another. The act of adjusting the shots someone has already taken, and turning them into something new is known as film editing. The film editor works with raw footage, selecting Shot (filmmaking), shots and combining them into Sequence (filmmaking), sequences which create a finished Film, motion picture.
