Harry Rushton
Harry Rushton (born 13 November 2001) is an international rugby league footballer who plays as a or forward for the Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League. He previously played for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League and the Canberra Raiders in the NRL. Rushton will join the Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2023 Super League season. Background Rushton is of Irish descent. Rushton played his amateur rugby league for the Shevington Sharks. Career 2020 Rushton made his Super League debut in round 14 of the 2020 Super League season for Wigan against St Helens, losing 42–0 against a much more experienced squad. Rushton started the match playing at and became Wigan Warriors' player #1107. 2021 Rushton had joined the Canberra Raiders on a three-year deal starting from the 2021 season. Blackpool
Blackpool is a seaside resort in Lancashire, England. Located on the northwest coast of England, it is the main settlement within the borough also called Blackpool. 2022 NRL Season
The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons). Pre-season Pre-season matches were played between 12 February and 28 February 2022, before a 10-day lead up until the beginning of the regular season. It featured nineteen matches across three weekends, including the 2022 All Stars match, which was won by the Māori All Stars 16 – 10, and the annual Charity Shield match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons, which the Dragons won 16–10. Huddersfield Giants Players
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. Penrith Panthers
The Penrith Panthers are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith that competes in the NRL. The team is based west of the centre of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Penrith are the current reigning NRL Premiers, having won the title four times. Penrith were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition in 1967. Penrith struggled for almost twenty years before finally reaching their first finals series. The club achieved its first Grand Final appearance in 1990 but were beaten by the Canberra Raiders 18–14.
