Harry Lighton
Harry Lighton (born 20 October 1992) is an English film director and screenwriter, whose feature directorial debut ''Pillion'' premiered in 2025. Originally from Portsmouth, Hampshire, he began making short films while studying literature at the University of Oxford. His most noted short film, ''Wren Boys'' (2017), received a British Academy Film Award nomination for Best Short Film at the 71st British Academy Film Awards, and a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best British Short Film at the British Independent Film Awards 2017. ''Variety'' is an American trade magazine owned by Penske Media Corporation. It was founded by Sime Silverman in New York City in 1905 as a weekly newspaper reporting on theater and vaudeville.
