Harry Arroyo
Harry Arroyo (born October 25, 1957) is an American former professional boxer who held the IBF lightweight title from 1984 to 1985. Early years Arroyo, of Puerto Rican descent, was born on the south side of Youngstown, Ohio, a steel-manufacturing center near the Pennsylvania border. As a child, he reportedly told his 15 siblings about his dream of becoming a nationally known fighter. In the 1980s, he became one of the most recognizable boxers on television and regularly appeared on the covers of boxing magazines. In 1984, Arroyo, with fellow Youngstown native Ray Mancini, was listed among the nation's top 10 contenders by the World Boxing Association. This was after Mancini had lost that organization's world title to Livingstone Bramble. Trump Plaza was a hotel and casino on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey, owned by Trump Entertainment Resorts. Designed by architect Alan Lapidus, it operated from May 14, 1984, until September 16, 2014. History Early years The Trump Organization, a company owned by real estate developer Donald Trump, began construction of the casino in June 1982. Sammy Fuentes (born February 18, 1964) in Loíza, Puerto Rico is a retired Puerto Rican boxer. Professional career Fuentes turned professional in 1982 & compiled a record of 21–6–1 before facing Julio César Chávez for the WBC light-welterweight title, he would lose via tenth round stoppage. The Akron City Center Hotel is an 18-story former hotel building in downtown Akron, Ohio. The 306-room hotel structure is the fifth-tallest in the city. It was constructed beginning in June 1970 as part of Cascade Plaza, an urban renewal project, and opened in 1971 as the Cascade Holiday Inn. Two lower floors of the building are part of the five-level underground Cascade Parking Garage, which opened in 1968. ARCO Arena (originally called the Sacramento Sports Arena and sometimes referred to as the ''Original ARCO Arena'' or ''ARCO Arena I'' to distinguish it from its successor) was an indoor arena in Sacramento, California. It was the NBA's smallest arena as it held just 10,333 people and was built in 1985 to temporarily accommodate the NBA's Sacramento Kings, who had relocated from Kansas City.
