Harri Olli
Harri Juhani Olli (born 15 January 1985) is a Finnish former ski jumper who competed at World Cup level from 2002 to 2016. He scored three individual World Cup wins, four individual Continental Cup wins, and an individual silver medal at the 2007 World Championships. Career Before the FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2008 in Oberstdorf, Olli had had a night out in a bar. Nonetheless both his jumps were over 200 metres, which gave him the sixth place in the final results. In August 2008 Olli was dismissed from the national team for a second time. He had been drunk during the Summer Grand Prix tour in central Europe and was late for the ride to the competition venue next morning. In July the police caught Olli for drunk driving and heavy speeding near Lapinlahti. Olli won one competition and placed third in another during the Summer tour. Salpausselkä (ski Jump)
Salpausselkä is a ski jumping venue in Lahti, Finland. It forms part of a larger sports complex, which also includes the Lahti Ski Museum. The hills are K116, K90, K64, K38, K25, K15, K8 and K6. FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2010
The FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2010 was held 18–21 March 2010 in Planica, Slovenia for a record sixth time. Planica hosted the event previously in 1972, 1979, 1985, 1994, and 2004. Austria's Gregor Schlierenzauer was the defending individual champion. Schlierenzauer and his Austrian teammates of Andreas Kofler, Martin Koch, and Thomas Morgenstern were the defending team champions. Schedule Results Qualifying 18 March 2010 Individual Ammann had the longest jump of the competition with a 236.5 m fourth round jump. He also led after the first two rounds and had the most points both two days to win the championships for the first time. 2006–07 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2006–07 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 28th World Cup season in ski jumping and the unofficial World Cup season in ski flying with no small crystal globe awarded. Season began in Kuusamo, Finland on 24 November 2006 and finished in Planica, Slovenia on 25 March 2007. The individual World Cup overall winner was Adam Małysz (first for Poland) and he also won Nordic Tournament. Nations Cup was taken by Team of Austria. 24 men's individual events on 16 different venues in 8 countries were held only in Europe this season (however World Championships was held in Asia). Janne Petteri Ahonen (; born 11 May 1977) is a Finnish former ski jumper and drag racer. He competed in ski jumping between 1992 and 2018, and is one of the sport's most successful athletes of all time, as well as one of the most successful from Finland. Janne Mikael Happonen (born 18 June 1984) is a Finnish former ski jumper who competed from 2001 to 2014, representing Puijo Ski Club. Career Happonen made his World Cup debut on 23 November 2001 in Kuopio, finishing an impressive eleventh in the individual large hill competition. Five years later he scored his first World Cup win on 5 March 2006, in a team competition in Willingen. This was followed up exactly a month later on 5 March, when Happonen won his first individual competition on the large hill in Lahti. Another individual win was achieved on 19 March at the ski flying hill in Planica. Happonen scored his third individual win on 3 March 2008 in Kuopio. The 2009–10 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 31st World Cup season in ski jumping and the 13th official World Cup season in ski flying with thirteenth small crystal globe awarded. 2007 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 took place 22 February – 4 March 2007 in Sapporo, Japan. It was the second time this city has hosted these championships, having previously done so in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Sapporo was selected as venue by vote at the 43rd FIS World Congress in Portorož, Slovenia, on 6 June 2002.
