Harish C. Mehta
Harish Chandra Mehta is a university lecturer and historian of the Foreign Relations of the United States. Journalistic career He has written for newspapers. Books Mehta has written three books on Cambodia: ''Hun Sen: Strongman of Cambodia'' (co-author Julie Mehta) is based on several hours of interviews with Prime Minister Hun Sen, whom the authors have known personally for twenty-one years; an updated edition was published in 2013. Hun Sen
Hun Sen (; km, ហ៊ុន សែន, ; born 5 August 1952) is a Cambodian politician and former military commander who has served as the prime minister of Cambodia since 1985. He is the longest-serving head of government of Cambodia, and one of the longest-serving leaders in the world. He is also the president of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and a member of the National Assembly for Kandal. His full honorary title is Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen ( km, សម្តេចអគ្គមហាសេនាបតី តេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន; ; meaning "Lord Prime Minister and Supreme Military Commander Hun Sen"). Born Hun Bunal,; he changed his name to Hun Sen in 1972, two years after joining the Khmer Rouge as a soldier. Society For Historians Of American Foreign Relations
The Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations (SHAFR) was founded in order to “promote excellence in research and teaching of American foreign relations history and to facilitate professional collaboration among scholars and students in this field around the world.” It is the preeminent organization in its field, with nearly 1,300 current members in over forty countries. It hosts an annual conference, and publishes the quarterly ''Diplomatic History''. It also publishes a triennial newsletter, ''Passport''. SHAFR has increasingly fostered connections with international institutions and organizations. SHAFR was founded in April 1967, as a result of the efforts of Joseph O’Grady, Betty Miller Unterbeger, Armin Rappaport, and David Trask.
