Hari Viswanath
Hari Viswanath (born on 18 December) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter. He is an engineer-turned-filmmaker from Chennai, India. He was the jury member of Indian Panorama section of International Film Festival of India 2017 in Goa. His passion for film stems from accompanying his father to his theatre performances. Being closely associated with theatre crystallized his vision and path for himself. Inspired by real life incidents, he wrote and directed his debut short film "Idukkan" ("Sufferings") which won the "Best Short Film" award in the Norway Tamil Film Festival 2013. Ever since, he has been actively directing films and writing stories close to his heart. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design and all the creative aspects of filmmaking. Pune International Film Festival
The Pune International Film Festival (also known as PIFF) is an annual film festival held in Pune, a city in Maharashtra, India. Open to general public, the films are screened at NFAI, Inox, City Pride, PVR cinema halls, all located in Pune city. Dr Jabbar Patel is the chairman and director of the festival. The festival commences on the second Thursday and concludes on the third Thursday of January. First Edition of PIFF was started in year 2002and has been running annually except for 2004. Rituparna Sengupta is an Indian actress and producer who is known for her work in Bengali cinema and Hindi cinema. Anurag Kashyap
Anurag Kashyap (born 10 September 1972) is an Indian filmmaker and actor known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is the recipient of several accolades, including four Filmfare Awards. For his contributions to film, the Government of France awarded him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and letters) in 2013. The Flute
