The Irish Universities Football Union is the governing body for university association football in the Third-level education in the Republic of Ireland, Republic of Ireland and List of universities in Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland. It is responsible for organizing the Collingwood Cup, the major cup competition for Irish universities. It also manages the only two all Ireland association football leagues – the College & Universities Football League and the Women's Soccer Colleges Association of Ireland League. It is affiliated to the Dublin–based Football Association of Ireland and works closely with both the College Football Association of Ireland (CFAI) and the Belfast–based Irish Football Association. Northern Amateur Football League
The Northern Amateur Football League, also known as the Northern Amateur League and often simply as the Amateur League, is an association football league in Northern Ireland. It contains 13 divisions. These comprise four intermediate sections: the Premier Division, Division 1A, Division 1B and Division 1C; three junior sections: Division 2A, Division 2B and Division 2C; and six reserve sections. The Galway & District League is an association football league organized by the Galway Football Association. It features amateur and junior clubs from County Galway. It currently features four divisions. Its top division, the Premier Division, is a seventh level division in the Republic of Ireland football league system. The Northern Ireland football league system is categorised into three levels: senior, intermediate and junior.
