Hans Verèl
Hans Verèl (21 April 1953 – 9 November 2019) was a association football, football Defender (football), defender and midfielder from the Netherlands, who played for Sparta Rotterdam, FC Dordrecht, SVV and FC Den Bosch. Playing career Verèl made his debut for Sparta Rotterdam, Sparta on 20 May 1973 against Den Bosch, but only managed to play one league game for the club. In 1976 he left for SVV. Managerial career A persistent injury ended his career while playing for Den Bosch in 1978, and he became an assistant coach at the club. In 1982 he became head coach alongside general manager Ad Zonderland and they won promotion with Den Bosch to the Eredivisie in 1983. He later coached RBC Roosendaal, with whom he reached the 1985–86 KNVB Cup Final, NAC Breda, FC Dordrecht, (SVV/)Dordrecht'90, RKC Waalwijk, FC Pakhtakor Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Willem II Tilburg and Fortuna Sittard. The Eredivisie (; "Honour Division" or "Premier Division") is a professional association football league in the Netherlands and the highest level of the Dutch football league system. The league was founded in 1956, two years after the start of professional football in the Netherlands. The 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League was the 45th season of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA's premier European club football tournament, and the eighth season since its rebranding from the "European Champion Clubs' Cup" or "European Cup". The competition was won by Real Madrid, who clinched a historic eighth title win by beating fellow La Liga side, Valencia CF, Valencia in the final. The final was hosted in the Stade de France in Paris, the city where the original roots of the competition had begun nearly 50 years earlier. Hans Westerhof
Hans Westerhof (born 24 November 1948) is a Dutch football coach and currently supervisory board member at SC Heerenveen. Besides the Netherlands, he has coached in the United States and Mexico. As a player, Westerhof played for BV Veendam and BVO Cambuur of the Dutch First Division. He began his coaching career in 1982, and has managed ONS Sneek, ACV, Groningen (1988–92 and 1994–96), PSV Eindhoven (1992–1994), the Netherlands U21 national team (1996–97), Ajax (2000), Willem II (2000–03), Chivas de Guadalajara (2003–04) and Necaxa (2007–2008). Westerhof originally joined Chivas de Guadalajara in 2003 as sporting director of the club's teams, but took over the dual role as head coach of the first team in October of that year. He stepped down as coach after the Clausura 2004 season. Jacobus "Co" Adriaanse (born 21 July 1947) is a Dutch association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player who played as a centre-back.
