Hans-Dieter Sues (born 1956) is a German-born American palaeontologist who is a Senior Research Geologist and Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology at the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Career Sues attended the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz ( University of Mainz), the University of Alberta, and Harvard University (Ph.D., 1984). He did work at McGill University and was a research paleobiologist at the Smithsonian before taking a role at the Royal Ontario Museum, where he was vice-president of collections and research. Career Hans-Dieter Tippenhauer was born on 16 October 1943 in Merunen in East Prussia, the second son of Gertrud (nee Faltin) and Wilhelm Tippenhauer. His older brother Ulrich Tippenhauer (1942–1983) became a professor of mathematics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Hans-Dieter Bader (16 February 1938 – 18 June 2022) was a German operatic tenor. He performed for decades in leading roles as both a dramatic and a lyrical tenor at the Staatsoper Hannover. He appeared in around 90 operatic roles, as well as in concerts and oratorios. His recordings include the operas ''Feuersnot'' by Richard Strauss and Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari's ''Sly (opera), Sly'', and the concert premiere of Max Reger's unfinished Requiem (Reger)#Lateinisches Requiem, Dies irae. Hans-Dieter Seelmann (born 18 September 1952) is a retired German footballer. Nicknamed "Datschi", he played as a defensive midfielder for TSV 1860 Munich, Wormatia Worms and SpVgg Fürth throughout the 1970s and the 1980s. Hans-Dieter Brüchert (born 18 August 1952) is a retired German freestyle wrestler. Between 1974 and 1976 he won two silver and two bronze medals at major international competitions, including a silver at the 1976 Olympics. In 1978 Brüchert graduated in physical education from the Deutsche Hochschule für Körperkultur. In 1980 he retired from competitions, and until 1981 coached wrestlers in Potsdam. Hans-Dieter Wacker (28 December 1958 – 3 October 1993) was a German footballer who played as a midfielder. Nicknamed "Fips", he briefly played for Eintracht Frankfurt in the late 1970s before spending the rest of his career for SKV Büttelborn. He was known as a player who had suffered various illnesses and injuries throughout his short-lived career in the Bundesliga despite having an active youth career.
